We Need Some Inspiration Week II

July 3, 2011

Time for some inspiration, folks! This week has been a depressing mix including cheaters and an obese man who was physically stuck to his recliner, so let’s focus on people who are doing/promoting/writing about things that inspire!

Inspiration: It's Everywhere!

Inspiration: It's Everywhere!

KimWrites: Fantastic author “Kim Brittingham struggled for years with her weight and body image before she learned how to love her self unconditionally, find her confidence, and fully enjoy her life.  In this unflinching, humorous, and uplifting memoir, she openly explores her complex relationships with food and dieting, sex and dating, and exercise and health, ultimately inspiring every woman to live life to the absolute fullest, no matter what your jeans size.” She can be found on Twitter @KimBrittingham and here’s one more glowing review about her wonderful book: “(Read My Hips) is inspirational to all women, regardless of size and their relationship with their bodies, because the ‘fight’ with food and weight is something that all of us have in common, whether we acknowledge it or not.”

MizFitOnline: “Community builder, fitness expert for Sears® Fit Studio, People’s Choice for Fila® Real Women model, freelance writer, blogger, Seuss lover, tutu wearer.”=@MizFitOnline  Her inspiring bio: “Carla Birnberg is an award winning writer, community builder, personal trainer, and bodybuilding competitor. A blogger since 2001, she launched MizFitOnline in 2007 to share her health & fitness knowledge with those who might not have access to one-on-one training.” Fabulous work Carla!

FitnessCollaborative: “Mama of 3 princesses, wife, runner, fitness enthusiast/motivator, Top 10 Inspirational Healthy Tweep. Co-founder of FitnessCollaborative.”=@fitcheerldr A great blog which has a great motto: “Everything’s Easier Together” and features topics such as “Future Fitness Goals and Aspirations.”
